Book Review Example:
Title: Christmas After All
Author: Kathryn Lasky
Time Period: Great Depression
This book is a great book to teach you about the Great Depression. The story is told in diary format by a middle school girl who is experiencing hard times with her family. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars because I found it hard to put down. I also learned great info about the Great Depression like how the shantytowns, where the homeless lived, were called Hoovervilles because the people blamed president Hoover for the economic crisis the country was in. If you want to know more about the Great Depression this may be the book for you!
